Cindy Persico is a dynamic entrepreneur and revitalizer who has made it her mission to help empower and inspire any human trying to find their highest self, but especially girls and women overcoming adversity. As a former foster teen, Cindy has persevered through incredible odds as an incest survivor to be the first in her family to graduate from college as she earned her degree in psychology from Jacksonville University and then a master’s in counseling from the University of Florida eventually becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a National Certified Employee Assistance Professional. She has helped hundreds of employers from healthcare to technology firms to school systems to bring out the best in their employees by providing counseling, coaching, leadership development, and award-winning training programs on a variety of mental health topics such as Secrets of Highly Resilient People, Emotional Intelligence, Social Media and Mental Health, and Overcoming Imposter Syndrome to name a few. Cindy was named Upcoming Woman Business Owner of the Year by the Women Business Owners of North Florida and her employee assistance program (EAP) business Corporate Care Works, Inc. was a finalist for Established Business of the Year just 4 years later. When she successfully grew her business to a national model of excellence, she sold it to Health Advocate, a leader in health promotion services and served as Vice-President on their EAP Leadership Team where she continued to make a positive impact bringing emotional well-being strategies to corporate wellness initiatives. Today she delights in her coaching and consulting business and continues to present on mental health topics to diverse audiences. Her passion is her superpower as well as a lifelong love of learning and she loves celebrating with others who see possibilities and gifts where others see obstacles. Cindy is honored to have mentored over 75 girls from at-risk homes and encouraged them to go after their dreams, too! She has served on the National Employee Assistance Association Board of Directors, as Southern Regional Representative, the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women, and on the Board of the Society of Human Resource Management, Jacksonville, Florida chapter. Cindy is a graduate of Mermaid Camp, was a member of a competitive Dragon Boat Team for many years that made it all the way to Ravenna, Italy, Go Jax Fire Dragons!
Most recently, she and her calico kitty Firecracker have achieved the honor of becoming a Pet Therapy Team and visit patients in hospice care to bring some joy to fellow cat lovers!
Cindy is embracing the gift of living juicy each day in gratitude and happily waiting to see what doors and windows God opens next!

Sharla Brown is a Canadian social entrepreneur, philanthropist and humanitarian who has been passionate about entrepreneurship, leadership and social issues her entire life. In the last 10 years Sharla has received 13 business and social impact awards, including the international WEF Iconic Women in Social Enterprise Award in 2016, the 2019 Ruby Award from Soroptimist International, a nomination for the 2017 Ontario Premier’s Award, 2019 Philanthropist by the Toronto Waterfront Women’s Awards, and has been invited to meet OPRAH!
For more than 28 years, through her entrepreneurial endeavours, Sharla has supported numerous community organizations. As the president of her event management company Keynote Events, she has created and executed more than 200 events and contributed more than 2 million dollars to various community and international charities.
Sharla mentors, teaches and inspires other women to embrace their leadership potential and entrepreneurial spirit. She empowers those around her to use their gifts to create a purpose-driven life doing what they love because she believes that each person’s gifts are like pebbles they can toss into the water, creating ripples that positively impact the world around them.
In 2015, Sharla travelled to Ecuador, and a world-changing ripple effect began through her creation of One Woman and One Girl.
These global social enterprises are on a mission to help women and girls around the globe live their dreams and reach their full potential through education, skills development and entrepreneurship.
Sharla has created over 200 One Woman Fearless events in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Her vision has ignited a ripple that has turned into an international wave of empowerment for millions of women and girls around the globe.
