Sibongile Segobola is a South African educator, social entrepreneur and women’s-empowerment advocate from Ga-Matlala, Limpopo. A former college pageant winner and young mother, she built a corporate career and served on boards before leaving the boardroom to pursue philanthropy full time. She began hands-on youth work in 2016, and after losing her sister she registered the MomSbo Foundation in 2023. Her organisation tackles teen pregnancy, HIV, gender-based violence, youth unemployment and school drop-out through mentorship, life-skills training and practical programmes such as Carry-a-Condom and driver’s-licence training. Sibongile leads with compassion,transforming lives one young person at a time across communities.
Award-Winning International Speaker and Communication Strategist Mpumi Nobiva, has spoken at the White House, congressional fundraisers, corporate functions and nonprofit initiatives in several countries. Mpumi grew up in South Africa, and, at age nine, lost her mother to HIV/Aids, leaving her orphaned like millions of other children in Sub-Saharan Africa. Reared in material poverty but spiritual wealth by her grandmother, she excelled in the first class of the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa before coming to the United States to study. She currently holds a master’s degree in Strategic Communications from High Point University and served as the first alumnus on the Board of Directors of the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for girls in South Africa.

Sharla Brown is a Canadian social entrepreneur, philanthropist and humanitarian who has been passionate about entrepreneurship, leadership and social issues her entire life. In the last 10 years Sharla has received 13 business and social impact awards, including the international WEF Iconic Women in Social Enterprise Award in 2016, the 2019 Ruby Award from Soroptimist International, a nomination for the 2017 Ontario Premier’s Award, 2019 Philanthropist by the Toronto Waterfront Women’s Awards, and has been invited to meet OPRAH!
For more than 30 years, through her entrepreneurial endeavours, Sharla has supported numerous community organizations. She has created and executed more than 200 events and contributed more than 2 million dollars to various community and international charities.
Sharla mentors, teaches and inspires other women to embrace their leadership potential and entrepreneurial spirit. She empowers those around her to use their gifts to create a purpose-driven life doing what they love because she believes that each person’s gifts are like pebbles they can toss into the water, creating ripples that positively impact the world around them.
In 2015, Sharla travelled to Ecuador, and a world-changing ripple effect began through her creation of One Woman and One Girl.
These global social enterprises are on a mission to help women and girls around the globe live their dreams and reach their full potential through education, skills development and entrepreneurship.
Sharla has created over 200 One Woman Fearless events in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Caribbean. Her vision has ignited a ripple that has turned into an international wave of empowerment for millions of women and girls around the globe.
