 Dr. Cheroll Dossett

Due to an unexpected turn of events and a minor stroke 10 years prior prompted Cheroll Dossett to re-assess her lifestyle choices.

Born in Heidelberg, Germany, Dr. Cheroll Dossett, MBA/ M.Ed grew up in Great Neck, Long Island and spent her adolescent years searching to find meaning and a place to belong. However, her runaway escapades from home at the age of 14 to 18 years of age led her to becoming a teenage mom at the age of 18 years old. Feeling like an outsider, Dr. Cheroll Dossett graduated from High School and immediately moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she majored in Sociology and a minor in Marriage and Family. While an undergraduate student, Cheroll was the first young parent on campus and advocated for Day Care for other young parents seeking to pursue a degree. Dr. Dossett’s advocacy skills landed her a Fellowship to pursue advanced studies in Business and Education many years later at the age of 35 and 40 years old. Given Dr. Dossett’s ability to navigate the unknown, she moved t0 China in 2011 following her departure from the New York State Education Department where she served as the Special Assistant to the Associate Commissioner of Education from 2008 to 2011.

Dr. Dossett’s first teaching assignment was a Lecturer role in the Dept of Economics and International Trade at Huizhou University, Henan Province . Dr. Dossett’s engaging teaching style and reputation as a serious Educator caught the attention of the Dean of Foreign Studies at South China University of Technology in Guangzhou where she was invited to serve as the first African American Lecturer in a PhD Program in Southern China from 2014 to 2020.

Due to an unexpected turn of events and a minor stroke 10 years prior prompted Cheroll Dossett to re-assess her lifestyle choices. During her period of recovery and healing, Dr. Dossett started formulating organic skin care products to help women who are photosensitive. Dr. Dossett is a passionate Educator, Storyteller and Spiritual Coach. Her contributions to Education Reform and Humanitarian causes earned her the designation and distinction as UN Ambassador at Large with the Economic and Social Council in February, 2019. Her Excellency Dr. Cheroll Dossett is an Author, Independent Filmmaker , Mother and Grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren ages 23, 17, and 14.

As a Humorist and ordained Minister, Dr. Dossett believes her purpose in life is to help women achieve breakthroughs from unresolved childhood traumas.
